MAY, 2017
Hello Victoria Sketch Club Members! This is our first Newsletter!

First of all, since this is Mother’s Day, I want to wish all the mothers in our Club a Happy Mother’s Day.  I
hope you are celebrated by your children today…if for some reason that cannot happen, treat yourselves to
some flowers, a nice meal, a good walk.

The Club has had a good year.  The Show was successful.  The Pizza Party at Bonny’s was sooo nice.  Here
is a picture of Victor, Nicki, myself and Ann enjoying a chat during the show.
I thought that our luncheon this year was particularly good.  The food was wonderful. Look at the great
desserts in the photo above. Thanks to everyone for bringing such yummy food..

I would like to remind people of our new members:  Mary Brackenbury, Joya Manna, Peter Marcetta, Myra
Baynton, and Ruth Beninger.  If you don’t recognize someone, please introduce yourself to them, and
welcome them to our Club.  Look to our Website,   www. victoriasketchclub.ca for pictures and background
information.

Our summer program kicked off with painting at Abkhazi Garden.  It was a nice spring day, with a good

Pam Orman and Victor Lotto on the right.
This past Tuesday, we met at Cattle Point.  Here is Ann painting at Cattle Point, and Christine painting, at
Upland’s Park, .  Below are Niramon, and Christine, and Agnes.
