Bill's landscapes and seascapes
have captured in oils the many
places he visited during his 35
year naval career
Bill took up painting in the early sixties in Port Arthur, Ontario, where he was a founding member and President of the Lakehead
Society of Fine Arts. As a result of having lived in many locations during his navy days, his work may now be found in homes in
Canada, the United States, England and Australia.

Bill joined the Victoria Sketch Club in 1994 when he retired to the West Coast. Bill has continued his work with the Victoria
Sketch Club, actively participating in all the Club's activities as President and several other roles. Recently Bill was recognized
for his contributions by being appointed an Honorary member status.
