The Victoria Sketch Club was originally known as the Island Arts Club ,
then the name was changed to the Island Arts and Crafts Society.
Subsequently a key component of the Society,the Sketch Club, was
re-named to its present day title.

During the Victoria Sketch Club's lifetime of more than 100 years the club
has enjoyed the membership of many notable members. Some of them
are listed on the right, with links to their biographies; more may be added
in due course, as well as portraits and examples of their work where
